We were thrilled to see Nathan and Jo on our television screens and we are right behind them and their journey on Britain's Got Talent.
We first featured Nathan and Jo on our social media channels back in January following their terrific dancing at the Champions of Tomorrow event. Nathan's love for performing really is infectious and he, along with his wonderful teacher Jo, had so much support from the audience. We are so pleased Nathan is able to share his love of dance with the BGT audience and beyond!
Britain's Got Talent viewers became instant fans of ballroom dancer with Downs Syndrome, Nathan as he took to the stage to audition.
The auditionee, 24, performed a routine as part of a Latin duo with his dance partner Joanne, 28, to Shakira's 2016 song Try Everything.
And fans of the show were just as delighted with his sassy personality as they were with his audition as his moment unfolded on screen.
Before arriving for his audition in Manchester, Nathan and Joanne were visited by judge Alesha Dixon who told him he had been nominated for the show by his dance teacher, prompting him to give Alesha some sarcastic side-eye when she asked if he was willing to appear on the show.
Stepping out onto stage for his audition in a black shirt adorned with sparkling crystals and matching trousers, Nathan informed the judges he would be performing the Cha Cha Cha, prompting new panellist Bruno Tonioli to declare: 'Yes, darling!' before a cheeky exchange between th
e pair followed.
Nathan and Joanne received four 'yes' votes from the judges - Alesha, Bruno, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden - with the pair sailing through to the next round.
And their audition delighted viewers, with some calling for the pair to win the show.
One person wrote on Twitter: 'Oh now I’m crying again yessss darling you Cha cha Cha to your heart's content Nathan #BritainsGotTalent.'
One other viewer tweeted: 'Right if Nathan doesn't win Britains got Talent there will be riots #BritainsGotTalent.'
